St.Giles in the Fields, built in the early 1730s in the Palladian style, is commonly known as the Poets' Church. Joseph William and John GOODES were baptised here, as were Susannah, daughter of Samuel BONNIN, Daniel HOCKLY, three children of George JENKINSON and Sarah ELLINGTON and Susanna, daughter of Charles James SPILLER. William TARR married Susannah BURT in this church.
