What is eGGSA?

eGSSA is the virtual or onlline branch of the Genealogical Society of South Africa, intended for those who are unable or do not wish to belong to one of the land based branches of the GSSA. In order to be a member of eGSSA it is necessary to join or already be a member of the former organisation.

What does it cost to subscribe?

Annual fee, payable in January of each year, is currently  ZAR 130.00  ( USD 23.00). This comprises R100 for membership of the Genealogical Society of South Africa plus R30 for membership of the eGGSA branch.

 


 

What do I receive as a member of eGGSA?

The Genealogical Society of South Africa (GSSA) is an international organisation of people engaged in the study of genealogy, family trees and family history with a South African connection.

The GSSA’s aim is to promote and facilitate interest and research in genealogy and family history.
