I beg to inform you that one of the Men named WILLIAM GILPIN embarked with our Party on Board the Zoroaster. Capt. THOMPSON has been discharged on account of severe illness. We have been recommended to substitute Enos SMITH, Farmer age 22 Years in his place.

Enclosed in this I have left the Letter to General, The Lord Charles SOMERSET and if you will have the goodness to substitute SMITHs name in the place of GILPIN it will add another favor to those received.

I am Sir
