Across the Drakens mountains. This is where the men balked, and didn't want to cross. But the women gritted their teeth and said, "If we have to cross this mountain barefeet, we will."
Date: 13. November 2019

Repairing a wagon wheel. On the left you can see how the metal part that goes over the wooden wheel is made red-hot on a fire. It is then slipped over the wheel and quickly immersed in cold water to make the metal shrink around the wood.
Date: 13. November 2019

Happy Prospect: Cooking, looking after livestock, relaxing. There were not many opportunities for the Trekkers to relax their vigil. When they did, it is easy to imagine that they would laugh and play and do things they normally would at home.
Date: 13. November 2019
