BIRT, Samuel - Extra Data

 

(member of BRADSHAW's Party)

 

According to The Settler Handbook, Samuel BIRT was on the party's location in 1824 and claimed to have been an original member of the party, even although his name does not appear on the official returns. He was a friend and neighbour of Isaac WIGGILL both in Painswick and at the Cape.
