[Sarah FISKE apparently died on 20 March 1790, six days after giving birth to a daughter Sarah, who also died, so it seems that Mary MEEN was actually the mother of Stephen SMITH the settler.]

Stephen's son Henry became a missionary and went to the USA, where he joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on April 10, 1865. Research by his descendants can be found here and says that Stephen SMITH's wife was Ann WALLER, and that Stephen was baptised on 10 July 1791 in Dunston, Norfolk.
