St.Andrew's is the original parish church of Melton and is just outside the village, unlike its Victorian replacement. The church closed for worship in 1977. Joseph OLDHAM and Mary WOOD, parents of the settler brothers Joseph, Thomas Wesley and Edwin OLDHAM, were married in this church.
