Ewell, St.Mary the Virgin. This church was consecrated in 1848 and was a replacement for an earlier church on the site. The ruins of the old church's medieval tower remain – see here. Charles HILL was baptised in St.Mary’s and his parents, James HILL and Jane TURNER, were married there.
