Sedbergh, St.Andrew. The Rev. William CARLISLE, father of the settlers John and Frederick CARLISLE, was baptised in this church, and his parents (William CARLISLE and Eleanor HERD) were married here. Sedbergh was historically in the West Riding of Yorkshire but is now part of Cumbria.
