Hackington, St.Stephen Interior.
Thurston WHITTLE and Thomazin RUFFORD were married in this church in 1779 and baptised four children here between 1780 and 1785, including a daughter Tamsen. It is assumed that they were the parents of the settler Thurston WHITTLE, who gave the name Tamson to one of his daughters at the Cape.
