The medieval Guildhall in Fressingfield, adjacent to St.Peter and St.Paul church, is now the Fox and Goose Pub (entry from the other side, with the rear preserved). Samuel ROWE came from Fressingfield, as did Francis SANCROFT,  2x great grandfather of the settlers Edward and John DAMANT.
