Walsingham Abbey

Walsingham Abbey
18th September 2019

The ruins of Walsingham Abbey, just off the High Street in Walsingham, which would have been the nearest town for Edward GIBBON of West Barsham. The Abbey was destroyed at the Dissolution of the Monasteries under Henry VIII but is still a place of pilgrimage today.
