Wargrave, St.Mary's tower

Wargrave, St.Mary's tower
24th February 2020

The tower of St.Mary's, Wargrave. The tower is one of the few parts of the church to survive a fire in 1914 started by the Suffragettes. William and James STREAK came from Warfield, and their parents Samuel STREAKE and Anne NEWELL were married in St.Mary's, as were William STREAK and Elizabeth CUTLER.
