Dover Castle - Church of St.Mary in Castro with Roman Pharos. The church dates from Saxon times and is now used as a regimental chapel. The ruins of a Roman lighthouse are adjacent. William MENEZES was at one time a soldier in Dover, as were others in his party, and may well have worshipped in this church.
