Morpeth, St.Mary the Virgin 2. Thomas BOWKER and Dorothy MONKHOUSE, parents of the settler Miles BOWKER, were buried in this church. A picture of their grave can be found here. The inscription reads: 

In Memory of THOS. BOWKER who died Septr. 4th A.D. 1798 Aged 72.

DOROTHY his wife died Septr. 11th A.D. 1810 aged 84.
