St.Alban, Wood Street was destroyed in the Great Fire of London and rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren. After bombing in WW2 only the tower remains. Philip DIXIE and Elizabeth NEVILL were married in St.Alban's,and three children of Thomas PULLEN (Harriet, Charles and Lavinia) were baptised here on the same day in 1819.
