St.Giles Cripplegate Interior

St.Giles Cripplegate Interior
31st October 2018

Interior of St.Giles, Cripplegate, one of the few medieval churches to survive the Great Fire of London. It was gutted during WW2 but restored. John FILMER and Mary WHITBREAD were married in this church, as were James LEADER and Mary Ann WILMOT, Jesse PAXTON and Sarah FROY, and Thomas PULLEN and Dorothy CARTER. William WAIT was baptised here, as were two children of William BOND. James URRY lived in the parish when his children were baptised in New Court Independent Chapel between 1810-1812.
