St.Margaret Pattens, Eastcheap. St.Gabriel Fenchurch was a City church destroyed in the Great Fire of 1666 and not rebuilt. That parish was incorporated into St.Margaret Pattens, but retained a separate identity for many years. Two children of William REED by his first wife Sarah are registered as being baptised in St.Gabriel's, but would actually have been baptised in St.Margaret's. James GRIFFIN and Lydia DAVIS, parents of the settler Thomas GRIFFIN, were married in St.Margaret Pattens.
