St.Stephen's Church was at the corner of Coleman Street and Gresham Street. It was destroyed in WW2 and never rebuilt. James Edward FORD was living in the parish when he married Frances STRANSHAM in 1802, and was living at Coleman Street Buildings when he was declared bankrupt in 1810. William Henry BOND, son of William and Martha BOND, was baptised here.
