Hanover Inn and Foresters, a 15th century former pub said to be the oldest building in Harwich, viewed from St.Nicholas Churchyard. The ancient church of St.Nicholas was declared unsafe and rebuilt in 1822, so the present church is not the one where Robert EMSLIE and Sarah GREASLY got married in 1809. An engraving of the church in the late 18th century can be seen here.
