Ruins of St.James the Apostle, Dover. The medieval church was replaced in 1862, but was restored in 1869. When it was badly damaged in WW2 the ruins were preserved as a tribute to the people of Dover. Richard BOWLES and Elizabeth AMOS were married in St.James the Apostle, as were Alexander CUMMINS and Elizabeth BUSHELL and James REED and Sarah Maria SLOMAN.
