Prescot, St.Mary the Virgin. John BOLD and Ann (Hannah) MANCHESTER were married in this church and eight of their children were baptised here. William BOLD, father of the settler, is buried here. He and his son were watchmakers, and Prescot was a great centre for watchmaking. See here.
