St.John at Hampstead. The original medieval church was rebuilt and dedicated in 1747, but by 1827 it was again too small and the current church is largely Victorian. Philip CAMM, brother of Christopher THORNHILL (né CAMM) and father of the settler John Philip CAMM, was baptised in St.John's, as were two daughters of Henry ULYATE and Lucy FINAUGHTY.
