Newtonhamilton Presbyterian Church. Walter SYNNOT wrote his correspondence with the Colonial Office from Newtonhamilton, and the men originally recruited for his party were all members of the Presbyterian Church of Scotland. The congregation was formed in 1814 although this building was not erected until 1820.
