Arnold, St.Mary's Church. George DENNISON was baptised in this church and his parents were married here. Two children of William SINGLETON and Mary HARDY were baptised in St.Mary's. Edward WHATTON (aka WETTON) and Jane HOPKISSON were married here and five of their children were baptised in the church. Most of WHITE's Party came from Arnold, and Thomas Charles WHITE wrote to the Colonial Office from an address in Arnold in August 1819.
