Bunny, St.Mary the Virgin Font

Bunny, St.Mary the Virgin Font

The "new font" of St.Mary the Virgin, Bunny, which is the one that would have been used to baptise Elizabeth DAVIS, mother of William PIKE. In 1912 an ancient 11th century font was dug out of a field in Bunny Moors, where it had been used as a drinking trough for cattle. This older font is now the one currently in use in the church.
