William CALVERLEY married Elizabeth GARGATE on 22 January 1802 in Askrigg, Yorkshire

 

Death Notice (Cape Archives) for son William says he died on 4 January 1852 aged 46 years and 6 months, putting his date of birth in the summer of 1805. His birth place is given as Barnet Castle, Yorkshire, almost certainly Barnard Castle, Durham (just over the border)
