Alsmede eenige Landkaarten en Boeken, waaronder een kompleet stel Kaapsche Couranten, van 21 October 1801 to 25 Juny 1830, netjes ingebonden. – Eindelyk, eenige Slaven, waaronder Tuinier, Wekjongen en Huismeiden.
** de Tuin en de Erven kunnen twee dagen voor de Verkooping worden bezigd; en de Koopkonditien, welke zeer voordeelig zyn, kan nien vernemen ten Kantore van de Heeren WOLFF & BARTMAN.

WHEREAS the Liquidation Account and Distribution Scheme of the Insolvent Estate of Johan George DE VILLIERS, Abraham Pieter’s Son, formerly of Cape Town, framed and closed on the 31st of December, 1824, by the late Sequestrator Ryno Johannes VAN DER RIET, Esq. appears not to have been submitted to the Worshipful the late Court of Justice for the Curt’s examination and sanction, conformably to the 44th and some following Articles of the late Sequestrator’s Instructions, - Notice is hereby given, that the said Liquidation Account and Scheme of Distribution, with an English Translation thereof, together with the Documents and Vouchers thereunto belonging, will lie open at this Office for inspection of the respective Creditors and those concerned, for a term of six Weeks from Friday, the 16th instant, agreeably to the 44th, 45th, and 46th Articles of the aforesaid Instructions, preparatory to their being submitted to the Master of the Supreme Court for examination and Report.

DE Slavin Constantia, behoord hebbende aan J.J. MOCKE, door my gekocht en thans myn eigendom zynde, is van de Plaats genaamd Smalpad, aan Groenekloof, met haar Mangenaamd Fredrik Floris, gedrost. Bovenstaande Belooning zal Gegeven worden aan dengenen, die haar vangt en by my of in een der Gevangenissen bezorgt, en als zy thuis komt, zal haar geen leed geschieden.

GEDROST, voor cirka drie maanden geleden, de Slave-jonge genaamd Gert, kort van postuur, en heft veel gelykenis naar een Bastaard Hottentot. – Gem. Gert, heeft by zyne opdrossing een kleine Hottentot, genaamd Piet, met zich mede genomen, en wordt verondersteld zich in de nabyheid van de Kaap op te houden.- Die hem in een der Gevangenissen bezorgt, zal generous worden beloond.

J.H. SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.

ARRIVED IN TABLE BAY.
July 5.  Patience, brig, J. MATHEWS, from the Mauritius 8th May, for this port.Cargo sundries and sugar. – Passengers, Messrs. MABILLE, TAYLOR, and Lieut. TINDALL. – Brings a mail.
From continual gales, she has suffered very severely, having washed all her bulwarks, &c. away, and threw overboard about 500 bags of sugar.
Spoke the brig Hebdon, - LOW, from Mauritius, for Marseilles. – All well.
6.  Olive Branch, brig, J. ANDERSON, from Portsmouth 29th April, for this port. Cargo sundries. – Passengers, J. HAWKINS, Esq.; Messrs. VALENTINE and VERREAUX; - in steerage, Mr. & Mrs. SWENEY, and Mr. H. PRINGLE. – Brings a mail.
The Magnet had sailed for the Cape; and the Eliza Jane was about to sail.
7.  Flinn, E. PHILLIPSON, from the Knysna 14th May, for this port.
Cargo timber. – Passenger, Mr. THOMSON.
Having experienced heavy N.W. gales, she has carried away part of her bulwarks, &c.

ARRIVED IN SIMON’S BAY.
July 5.  Gange et Garonne, (French,) T. GEOFFERY, from Calcutta 18th Feb, and Bourbon 24th May, bound to Bordeaux, Cargo sundries – Passengers, Capt. HODGES, E.I.C.S.; Lieuts. SMITH, GRAHAM, and GOWANS, ditto; Capt. BEAUFORT and Lady; and Mr. LISSADE. – Put in for water and refreshments.

On the 19th June, the Thorne was lying in Plettenberg’s Bay, having put in there in distress after suffering considerably in her upper works. The crew, &c. were in a miserable situation, and the humanity and kindness of Capt. HARKER, in administering to their wants, is mentioned in the highest terms of commendation.
On the 20th June, the Usk, arrived in Algoa Bay; she experienced very severe weather on the 19th, which carried away her stern-boat and divets, and also some of her bulwarks.
On the 25th June, the Wanderer arrived in Algoa Bay.
The Clorinda sailed from Algoa Bay on the 20th June, and was off that port on the 25th, - Wind N.W.
The Luna was still at the Knysna.

ESCAPED from the Public Works at Stellenbosch, two Hottentot Convicts, named Casper and Philip Jager; the first was dressed at the time of his desertion, in an old blue kersey jacket, leather trowsers, blue cloth waistcoat, white shirt, and black hat; and is 5 feet 1¼ inches high, black woolly hair, brown eyes, broad nose, slender shape, and about 20 years of age; the second was dressed in a soldier’s white jacket, striped waistcoat, leather trowsers, white shirt, straw hat, and shoes of […the remainder of this sentence has not been included in this image..]

NADEMAAL de Boedel van wyl. Johannes Jacobus SCHOLS, (door den Executeur overgegeven,) onder Sekwestratie is gesteld in handen van den Meester van het Hooge Geregtshof; en naardien het aan den gem. Meester is komen te blyken, dat de goederen en effecten van den gez. Insolvent, geschikt voor de betaling zyner schulden, geene £40 waardig zyn; - zoo wordt een ieder by deze opgeroepen, die eenige pretentie op voorm. Boedel heeft, om eene byeenkomst van Crediteuren by te wonen, welke zal gehouden worden ten overstaan van den Resident Magistraat, op zyn Bureau, te George, op Zaturdag den 16 October aanstaande, ten 10 uren, ten einde dan en aldaar hunne schulden te bewyzen, by affidavit of anderzins, voor den gez. VERKOOPING AAN DE VISCHHOEKBAAI.
DE Ondergeteekende van voornemen zynde, om in den loop der aanstaande maand October, een Privaat Logement in de Simons-stad te openen, wenscht zich dus van zyne zeer uitgebreide Affaire aan de Vischhoek te ontdoen, en zal uit dien hoofed, op den 29 en 30 dezer, per publieke Vendutie aan bovengem. Plaats doen verkoopen, de gezegde Plaats, groot in zyn grond 693 morgen, wel bekend als eene Vischplaats, met goed Zaai- en Weiland, groot overvloed van Kreupelhout, een Groenten Tuin, en het geheele jaar door van Water voorzien. Het Land is thans bezaaid met 12 ¼ mud Koorn, Garst, Haver, Rog en Erwten, al hetwelk een zeer veel beloovenden Oogst doet verwachten, zynde hetzelve zeer geschikt, om met geringe kosten tot eene Noordkaper Visschery te worden ingerigt.
Voorts Ploegen, Eggen, complete Bouwgereedschappen, tot eene Boerdery behoorende, twee zoo goed als nieuwe Ossenwagens met toebehooren, 50 extra Ossen, welke met het einde van deze maand uit de Saldanhabaai verwacht worden; een opregte Hollandsche Bul, extra geode Melkkoeyen, Trek- en Rypaarden, een nieuwe Kar voor een e nook voor twee Paarden, twee Vischbooten, twee Zegens, waarvan de een zoo goed als nieuw is, een platboom Schuit, Vatwerk, Zoutbalies, waarin 50,000 Pekelharingen kunnen gezouten worden.
Voorts Huismeubelen, Tafels, Stoelen, Sofas, Aanzettafels, Ledekanten, Katels, Beddegoed, Kasten, Kisten, blaauwe Tafelserviesen, Keukenge-reedschap, en vele andere Noodwendigheden, te menigvuldig om hier te worden vermeld.
Voorts een Slavenjongen, zynde een bekwame Looyer.
Koopers boven Rds. 100, zullen een Crediet van 3, - die boven de Rds. 1000, een crediet van 6 maanden hebben, mits op geode en gangbare Acceptatien.
Alles zal zonder de minste reserve verkocht worden.
