This is pre 1820 information mainly taken from actual images of UK parish registers and other primary sources which I have personally researched. Further information about the settlers and their families once they reached the Cape can be found at https://www.1820settlers.com/

HUNT, William - Extra Data

(member of CALTON's Party)

Death Notice (Cape Archives) for daughter Elizabeth suggests she was born about 1811/1812, daughter of William and Mary

Nottinghamshire FHS Transcriptions

John son of William and Mary HUNT baptised 2 November 1806 in All Saints, Coddington, Nottinghamshire

Ann daughter of William and Mary HUNT baptised 11 February 1808 in All Saints, Coddington, Nottinghamshire (born 3 February 1808)

Elizabeth daughter of William and Mary HUNT baptised 15 September 1811 in All Saints, Coddington, Nottinghamshire

Sarah HUNT, described in The Settler Handbook as a daughter of William HUNT, married Thurston WHITTLE in 1822, aged 28

(Matrimonial Court Minutes: Grahamstown - 9/6/1822 :Film No. 1886513), which would put her date of birth at 1794, although her burial record in 1831 suggests a date of bith of 1797.

There is a possible baptism of a Sarah HUNT, daughter of William and Mary, on 27 June 1797 in St.Anthony, Lenton Priory, Nottinghamshire, although there were several William HUNTs in the county at this time, and there is a possibility that Sarah could have been from an earlier marriage.
